The Union Territory of Puducherry joined RUSA on 09.09.2014 by committing to reforms in higher education in the UT. The Project Approval Board (PAB) in its 8th and 9th PAB meetings held on 02.09.2015 and 01.12.2015 approved proposals of the State worth Rs. 82.00 crore, comprising of Rs. 82 crore as central share (100%).
