A digital skill mapping of students enrolled across 5 universities – University of Kashmir, University of Jammu, Cluster University of Srinagar, Cluster University of Jammu and Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) – proposed by TISS as a part of Entrepreneurship, Employability and Innovation Hubs for the state of Jammu & Kashmir was undertaken from 15th – 26th July 2019. The aim of this activity was to understand students’ preferences across a range of sectors.
The activity consisted of a 5 minute test, accessible on any device with internet connectivity, of a set of sectors wherein the students would choose their preferences based on their proficiency and interest, thereby, throwing light on areas of students’ interest. This would facilitate decision making for introduction of skill based programs in the State.
This activity was administered by Tata Consultancy Services in collaboration with TISS.
