The State of Tripura joined RUSA on 05.02.2013 by committing to reform its higher education sector. The Project Approval Board (PAB) in its 5th and 6th PAB meetings held on 10.12.2014 and 27.03.2015 approved proposals of the State worth Rs.67.339 crore, comprising of Rs.60.6051 crore as Central share (90%) and Rs.6.7339 crore (10%) as State’s share.
