The State of Meghalaya joined RUSA on 17.03.2015 by committing to reform its higher education sector. The Project Approval Board (PAB) in its 10th meetings held on 02.02.2016, approved proposals of the State worth Rs.97 crore, comprising of Rs.87.3 crore as Central share (90%) and Rs.9.7 crore (10%) as State’s share.
