The State of Manipur joined RUSA on 28.10.2013 by committing to reform its higher education sector. The Project Approval Board (PAB) in its 3rd meeting held on 13.05.2014 approved proposals of the State worth Rs.136 crore, comprising of Rs.122.4 crore as Central share (90%) and Rs.13.6 crore (10%) as State’s share. The details of funds approved to the State, component wise is given in the table below:
