The State of Haryana joined RUSA on 06.11.13 by committing to reform its higher education sector. The Project Approval Board (PAB) in its 4th and 9th meetings held on 05.12.14 and 1.12.2015 approved proposals of the State worth Rs. 140.54 crores, comprising of Rs. 84.3264 crores as Central share (60%) and Rs. 56.2136 crores (40%) as State’s share.
The State joined RUSA 2.0 in the 12th PAB held on 25th May, 2018. The funds approved by PAB in RUSA 2.0 is 260 Crores comprising of 156 Crores Central Share and 104 Crores as State Share.
The Component-Wise funds approved and central share released till 7th July, 2019 under RUSA 1.0 & RUSA 2.0 are given below:
