The State of Goa joined RUSA on 6.11.13 by committing to reform its higher education sector. The Project Approval Board (PAB) in its 6th and 9th meetings held on 27.3.2015 and 01.12.2015 approved proposals of the State worth Rs. 62 crores, comprising of Rs. 37.2 crore as Central share (60%) and Rs. 24.8 crore (40%) as State’s share.
The State joined RUSA 2.0 in the 12th & 15th PAB held on 25th May, 2018 & 24th Jan, 2019. The funds approved by PAB in RUSA 2.0 is 35 Crores comprising of 21 Crores Central Share and 14 Crores as State Share.
The Component-Wise funds approved and central share released till 7th July, 2019 under RUSA 1.0 & RUSA 2.0 are given below:
