The State of Bihar joined RUSA on 04.11.2013 by committing to reform its higher education sector. The Project Approval Board (PAB) in its 7th and 8th meetings held on 28.03.2015 and 02.09.2015 respectively, approved proposals of the State worth Rs. 262.40 crore, comprising of Rs. 157.44 crore as Central share and Rs.104.96 crore as State’s share. The details of funds approved to the State are given in the table below:
